• On-site Employee Relations Coordination
• On-site Employee On-boarding Services
• On- and Off-site Safety Program Administration

Safety Programs

In addition to all of the payroll, benefits administration, and performance management services UP provides our employees, we are adamant about employee participation in our safety programs:

• Basic Industrial Safety Training (administered through the local Industrial Education Council)
• Site-specific Safety Training (administered through the local Industrial Education Council)
• UP-specific Safety Program Orientation
• PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) distribution and management
• Job-essential Functions analysis and compliance safety training, evaluation, and follow-up

We don’t stop there. Ongoing on-site employee-safety services include:

• Routine on-site safety meetings
• Post-accident/incident management
• Liaison services between your Safety Managers and UP’s on-site staff to communicate specific safety directives
• “Near Miss” Program
• Emergency Area assignment
